Development Continues


This Version will be seperate from the currently WIP release of Backrooms VHS. 

I improved my skills in terms of gameplay, graphics and workflow.

With the new gained knowledge and tools I will create a pre-made gameworld, in contrast to the old Version which used Wave-Function-Collapse.

With the new Project I am working on I will create a more interesting world, similar to a short film which you can  interact with. 

This iteration there will be more realistic camera movements, graphics and filter. A game world with at least everything Kane Pixels has shown and more content added and customized. 

An addition will be a foe, the howler. That will be placed at a random selected place that fits the cinematic means. The howler will be able to lure you with cries and when spotted he will also chase you through the levels, which you can use to loose him.

Timelines will be implemented to guide the player and add an intense factor and scary moments.

The gameplay aspect will be placed more value in terms of interaction and walking/ running. I will try to include some puzzles to give some meaning to the limited place in terms of size as it will be finite this time. 

Transitions from noclipping from the real world will be done in a cinematic manner.

You will teleport at some given points to give more of a short film feel. It will not be done to feel out of place, but when it will feel connected.
